MISSION STATMENT: ENDING DOMESTIC & SEXUAL VIOLENCE
Domestic and sexual violence are crimes that must be stopped in Santa Fe. The City’s governing body created the position of Domestic and Sexual Violence Liaison to spearhead this work.Based at the Santa Fe Police Department, the Domestic and Sexual Violence Liaison checks with victims of violence to see if they are safe and in need of services; coordinates and collaborates with the Santa Fe Coordinated Community Response Council; works with law enforcement; collects and reports data; writes grants for the Santa Fe Police Department and other local victim-serving agencies; networks throughout the community; and provides training’s locally and statewide.
